MAT SEND Leadership Programme
Designed to support those leading inclusion at a multischool level, the MAT SEND Leadership Programme encourages knowledge sharing and collaboration across a group of leaders whilst equipping participants with the skills needed to implement inclusive practice and improve outcomes for children and young people with SEND.
The MAT SEND Leadership programme will help participants gain the skills necessary to develop a leadership of SEND that is both strategic and inclusive, such as:
• developing cross-site expertise
• leadership of cultural change
• monitoring outcomes
• evaluating impact effectively
• programme design
• creating effective systems
• identifying common needs
This programme blends distance and face to face learning with conference opportunities, and is aimed at Directors/Heads of Inclusion/Senior SENDCo's in MATs or other school clusters. It will share modules with the SEND Advocates Programme.
The MAT SEND Leadership programme will be launched at the Whole School SEND Strategy Summit on the 20th September. Participants will be able to access this for free as part of the programme and are expected to attend.
